Eligibility Requirements:
You must have held the rank of yondan (4th dan) for at least one year by the date of the test.
You must submit a copy of your yondan certificate issued by the Hombu office.
Submission Guidelines:
Include the following information:
Full Name
Date you received your yondan rank
Name of the teacher who awarded you the rank
Scan of your yondan certificate in high quality, readable in Japanese without blurring when enlarged.
Send the submission to the following email address: godan@taikai.fi
Note: Only certificates issued by the Hombu office will be accepted. All certificates will be verified with the office prior to the Taikai.
Submission Deadline:
All submissions must be made one month prior to the Taikai: no later than May 30th (by the end of your local time zone).
